Handicap accessible homes should
have a minimum of three foot doors, and allow access at each level.
A custom design may include lowered counter tops, lowered
laboratories, and showers without curbs. The plan below provides a
side entry without steps, large openings and an elevator so that
each level may be accessed by the handicapped. Any home can be
planned as handicap accessible.
