are great fun to build and to live in. The homes can be tiny
get-a-ways or large family homes. Some businesses opt to use logs as
a commercial, and marketing concept. A real eye catcher. There are
several companies that specialize in the construction, offering
specific cabin house plans that work for their building components.
Having worked in the area for years, I can strongly recommend logs
for strength, they have a good R-value, they will be standing long
after other homes have disappeared, and last but not least, they are
beautiful.
